These are a few things to keep in mind before booking your float session:


  • Be sure to eat a moderate meal 30 minutes to an hour before your float, that way you aren't feeling uncomfortable from being hungry or from having eaten too much.

  • Avoid caffeine and alcohol for about 4 hours before your float, they act as stimulants and can make you feel restless.

  • Avoid shaving for about 8 hours before you float, as it can make your skin sensitive, and the salts can sting a bit if your skin is irritated.

  • The entire process for a float session will include an additional half hour or so from the time you arrive until the time you leave. This includes 15 minutes in our Zero Gravity massage chairs to help you relax before you float, as well as time to shower and change before and after your session. If this is your first time, you will also receive a detailed orientation prior to floating.

  • It's a good idea to not have any commitments immediately after your session, so that you can take your time and enjoy yourself while you're here.

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time, there's a little bit of paperwork to fill out, but it doesn't take long.


You don't need to bring anything but yourself! People typically float in the nude- if you wear something it will likely feel distracting and restrictive. You will be in your own private float suite, and it is very comfortable and secure. We have lockers for you to keep your belongings in, and a comfy spa robe and sandals for you to wear while you're here. We also have all of the basic toiletries you might need- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, lotion,  make up wipes, contact solution, contact cases, cotton swabs, combs, brushes, deodorant spray- however, feel free to bring any of your own that you might want or need. We also supply tools for enhancing your comfort during your float, including ear plugs, a neck pillow, and vaseline to cover and protect any small cuts, scrapes, or sensitive areas from the salt solution.  $25 will be charged on reservations cancelled within 24 hours.
