JENN WOOTEN - Functional Flow

Jenn is a certified yoga therapist and yoga educator who has studied yoga and mindfulness for over 20 years. She has been a teacher, mentor and group facilitator in the Austin yoga community since 2004. Her teaching style focuses on embodiment, functional movement, joy and resilience. Jenn teaches trauma-informed yoga classes and leads foundational and in-depth yoga teacher trainings, mentorships and retreats throughout the world. She guides students to respond to life’s stressors through embodiment, breath, self-awareness and self-compassion. Her teaching is engaging, accessible and warm-hearted. Jenn’s gift is her intuitive ability to help students lean into to their own self-authority and connect to their body as a source of wisdom. The core of her teaching is helping people cultivate a yoga and mindfulness practice as a pathway for healing, awakening and wholeness.

REBECCA RISHER - Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Rebecca has been a full-time yoga teacher for more than a decade; her classes provide a safe, healing space well-suited for all levels of experience ‍and ideal for those seeking comfort and ease in stillness. Rebecca encourages you to delve into self-awareness by exploring the deeper, hidden layers of the self that are in need of acknowledgment and processing. She keeps classes as simple and quiet as possible in order to allow students to decompress and release.

Rebecca, Certified Yoga Therapist and RYT-500, is extensively trained in both the Hatha and Kundalini traditions, specializing in Yoga Nidra, Yin, and Restorative. She has trained with a diverse range of teachers exposing her to an assortment of styles.

 

LAURA FORSYTH - Yin Yoga

Laura is the founder of One Yoga Collective. She has been an Events Producer for over a decade, for a multi-million dollar yoga studio group, and independently as a consultant to individual yoga teachers, wellness professionals and studio owners. 

Laura is an RYT500  and teaches weekly classes, worshops and as guest faculty for various teacher training modules.  She teaches all level Hatha yoga classes and specializes in Yoga for Stress Managment, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She has had the luxury of studyng with many of the top teachers in north America including Dr. Richard Miller,  Judith Lasater, Gary Kraftsow, Erich Schiffmann, Leslie Kaminoff, Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers and more.

She has completed coursework in Ayurveda from the Ayurvedic Institute and studies bodywork at the Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing.

 

MARCI WINTERS - Hatha Yoga

Marci's approach is nurturing, supporting each student individually. Her certifications are in Hatha Yoga, Meditation and Chi Quong. As a lifetime student of yoga, she finds complete joy serving each student's unique needs. Offering presence and personalized care, Marci continues her studies at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram with Dan Millman (author of Way of the Peaceful Warrior, and Finding Your Life Purpose) Summer 2019. Marci produced Yoga for Seniors and voiced guided meditation-Clear Calm. As a filmmaker and co-author of Giraffe Juice, a book addressing bullying with compassionate communication (translated into Korean), Marci empowers young people with life skills/conflict resolution. Singing, chanting in Hawaiian, Hebrew and Sanskrit, writing and playing music are a few passions Marci enjoys when not yoga-ing!

JEN HILMAN - Gentle Essentials

"Gentle Essentials" - Jen Hilman guides you through a meditative journey into your breath and your body. The journey begins with the breath anchoring our intention with select essential oils. From there we explore the essentials of basic yoga postures in fine detail, allowing you to expand your present moment awareness while deepening your relationship to your body, your mind, and the pose itself. This class moves slowly with intention. It is appropriate for beginners and can offer a challenge at any level of practice.

Jen is a passionate and dynamic instructor with a background rooted in Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, and Anusara. She emphasizes alignment, encourages mindfulness, and invites playfulness with each deep breath. She offers classes at all levels, from beginning to advanced, and teaches self acceptance at every step on the journey.

There are few things that bring Jen more joy than sharing the ancient wisdom that yoga carries. She looks forward to welcoming you to class and supporting your journey to wellness.

 

JILL BRUSNAHAN- Kundalini Yoga

After establishing a firm foundation in yoga asanas, Jill continues to explore other forms of yoga including Hatha, Vinyasana and Kundalini. It was kundalini yoga however, that deeply inspired her, especially the breathwork and chanting.  Jill is passionate about sharing the dynamic breath work and Kriyas that Kundalini has to offer.

Kundalini Yoga is an uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, incorporating movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras. The goal is to build physical vitality, increase consciousness and provide a modality through which, people can achieve their maximum creative potential, free themselves from karma and realize their life purpose.

 

DR. CASS NAUMANN - QiGong

Cass has a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, with an honors concentration in Integrative Medicine: Qigong and the effects of Vibrational Healing. She is a licensed acupuncturist and Board certified Diplomat of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM. Cass is also a certified Asian bodyworker, a Reiki master/teacher, and a certified Yoga teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching various styles of Yoga, Tai Qi, Qigong, meditation and holistic lifestyle principles.

Cass is an intuitive teacher and healer who incorporates a vast array of training and interests to bring about subtle changes to all levels of the body, mind, and spirit. She strives to embody the healing medicines that she practices, and thus is a walking example of what it looks like to use breath as center, food as medicine, to walk in both integrity and self-compassion with a playful spirit, and to embrace the power of gratitude, surrender and the cultivation of self-love. She brings a professional, elegant, and graceful demeanor to her practice and holds a calm spaciousness with all those around her. She is devoted to the heart and spirit of this medicine and believes we all have the innate capacity to heal our-selves.
